Chef Jason - Trip to Africa ( Uganda 2008 ) 10 Year Anniversary

Chef Jason & Chef friends had the honour to represent Trinidad & Tobago’s Cuisine all the way over in Africa, Uganda 2008 as part of a special invitation from the Trinidad & Tobago Consulate to Uganda ( Patrick Edwards ). Chef Jason executed an inaugural opening of the Embassy with loads of Trini delicacies and varied dishes to thousands of guests. The Food Festival continued also for 2 weeks at the Serena Kampala 5 Star Hotel where the Chefs stayed during their visit and put on daily a Trinidad & Tobago Food Showcase everynight to the public and private guests of the hotel. He had the pleasure of shooting a live cooking show from the hotel which was broadcasted on Network TV, cooking Curried Goat as part of the marketing venture for the festival. Chef Jason also had the opportunity to do some touring of the country and sight seeing where he visited the River Nile and other historic locations.
