Chef Jason Visits Lakshmi Girls Hindu College

Chef Jason Peru was given a special invitation to pay a visit to the Prestigious Lakshmi Girls Hindu College to preside over their Food & Nutrition Exams. The Students were elated to have Chef Jason visit and offer advice to them as it related to the methodology of the various delicious  “chokas” they made and briefly on some paths and motivations into furthering their studies into the Culinary Sector. He stressed that during his secondary school days, elders propelled students to study Information Technology, Engineering, Energy Studies, Law as well as Medicine as they viewed these areas as the promising careers to pursue for a successful life. He made it a point to showcase that, what may be popular now to study may not be guaranteed as being profitable in the future, showcasing examples of the failing Energy and Oil sector in Trinidad, the exodus of trained Doctors having to leave T&T and work in other nations as well as the difficult and saturated Law sector now. He advised them to follow their hearts and harness their true potential to be creative and innovative in developing their natural skills and producing services that are unique to them. He reminded them that this will ensure they understand what being an Entrepreneur is all about and their skill will enable them to always be viable even when the economy becomes rough as the service sector is what actually fuels consumerism and economic circulation
